Gregory & Friends is a person-centered, service-oriented autism adult day program in Virginia. Activities are guided by each participant's Individual Service Plan, interests, and acuity level — never one-size-fits-all.

Arts, crafts & creative expression

Watercolor painting, hands-on crafts, and creative projects tailored to each participant's interests and abilities.

Puzzles & cognitive skill-building

Activities designed to build focus, problem-solving, and acuity skills in a relaxed, encouraging setting.

Money & life-skills training

An in-house cash register with play money makes practicing shopping and money skills fun and practical. Monopoly and other games extend the learning.

Travelogue & geography

An interactive voice-prompt map helps participants explore U.S. states and discover fun facts about each one.

Computer lab

One-on-one time at our high-speed-internet computer lab — for learning, communication, and exploration.

Music & listening sessions

Music available throughout the day for participants who love to listen, sing, or move.

Outdoor & community outings

Picnics, museum trips, and county & state community events — purposeful outings that build confidence and connection.

Employment skill development

We support individuals seeking gainful employment of their choice and acuity level through targeted skill development.

Behavioral support & crisis management

Our trained staff coordinate and manage behavioral crises so each participant can engage to the fullest of their ability.

Our team includes certified nursing aides and a part-time clinician with proven, in-depth experience supporting the medical and behavioral needs of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Every staff member is selected for both skill and heart.
